4. Returns & Refunds Policy

4.3 Right to Cancel (Online & Distance Purchases)

If you purchase goods from GreenIT online, by phone, or through any distance selling method, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right:

  • You must notify us (by phone or email) within 14 days of receiving the goods.
  • Once you have notified us, you must return the goods within a further 14 days.

Provided the above conditions are met, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price, including standard delivery costs where applicable.

Important conditions:

  • Items must be returned unused and in a condition suitable for resale. You may handle the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature and functionality.
  • You are responsible for the cost of returning goods unless otherwise agreed or unless we failed to inform you of this in advance.
  • We may withhold the refund until goods are returned or proof of return is provided.

4.4 Change of Mind (In-Store Purchases)

If you purchase goods in-store, you do not have a statutory right to return goods simply because you change your mind.

Any returns accepted in these circumstances are at the discretion of GreenIt and are offered as part of our goodwill policy.

4.5 Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, your rights are protected under Irish consumer law.

You are entitled to the following remedies:

  • Within 30 days of delivery: You may be entitled to a full refund.
  • After 30 days, We will offer a repair or replacement in the first instance.
  • If a repair or replacement is not possible or unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a refund or price reduction.

If an item is faulty:

  • Please contact our helpline at 045 409150 or email (support@greenit.ie) us as soon as possible.
  • We will arrange an appropriate remedy (repair, replacement, or refund).
  • We will cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrect goods.

4.6 Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods or proof of return.
  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
